Ok. Here are the sidewalk and steps photos. Not sure they are clear. There are 14 steps and approx 3 landings 4'x8'. I'm glad I have a tractor. I had to use my FEL to get the concrete up the hill. The upper most top section was already in if any one counts steps! That's a water garden off to the side.

Don't know what type of picture file you are using, but when I click on the links, it wants to save them to my computer. Can't allow that to happen.

Paddy,
If you can upload your photos as JPEGs. I have to use a different software to open BMP files as do many other TBNers.
If you can't or are not sure how, there are folks here that will let you know how to do it.

Paddy,

The stairs look great. I really like the fish pond along the side of them. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

The photos came from my camara as jpeg but were a bit large. I don't have any editing soft ware outside of Paint:(. I need to retake them with a slightly lower setting.

Download PixResizer ... it is free and will allow you to resize pictures to almost anything that you would like. Very easy to use.

Microsoft has an image resizer that's free also. I forget the link, but if you do a search in the photo section or post a question at the very last section, you should be able to find a link.

It's very easy to use. Just open you pictures and right mouse click on it. Then click on resize pictures and your done.

Good luck

Rob,

I used/ordered 4 yards to do the step/walk way. But I always have a back up form for any left over. Hate to to throw it down the ditch! I made a little 6"x6" wide/tall retaining wall form 30' long. Well just happened I did have a bit left....but not quite enough to fill the back up form. No problem, my wife and queen of all, ran out and bought 6 bags of concrete to complete it.

I met a guy once who used to keep a set of forms handy for fence posts for extra concrete. Not sure what he did but a sheet of 3/4 plywood with dividers would make 7 posts 8' long real quick. I have lined my creek before and after my concrete bridge with a nice layer of concrete.

Well, you sure did a nice job. I hope mine will turn out that good. Your wife is pretty special to get those extra bags, they are heavy!!! That is a good idea for the left over concrete too. If I did that I would have enough for the slab under my propane tank, which was 12" too short. I learn more things on this board, I swear!
Thanks for sharing.
