I can't answer your question but can tell you I experimented with a 7 foot Ford sickle mower on my old 2002D. It handled it fine, didn't need high rpms at all. Never could get the thing to cut worth a hoot so I sold it. I had more trouble getting it hooked up where it would balance out. Some of them require a little more than just hooking up to the 3 point.
