Hello All,

I was test driving a 790 4 wheel drive over the weekend.
Looked ok, but front grill was beat up and lot of paint wear on the bottom side.
But the biggest problem was a shutter or vibration every time the tires went around. Meaning I could feel once per revolution of the rear tires.
Running the tractor on soft soil with nothing attached. Happened in many different gear. You think something could be bent???

This was in 2WD or 4wd.

That certainly does NOT sound normal! Possibly jacking the rear up and spinning the tires will reveal the problem...

Unless it is dirt cheap I would pass on that tractor, since you may wind up with some expensive repairs.

Had the tractor been sitting for a long time? Maybe the tires are flat-spotted. Mine does this if it has been sitting. It goes bumpity bump when I drive it for a bit.

I have experienced this with nylon cord tires before, what kind of construction do your tires have?
