I'm two ways on these. Love to have one, and having used the bucket as a "man" lift, but after having a hose blow on my FEL and it dropping so fast that it looked like i'd bungeed it to the ground, i'd be less likely to modify my FEL so that it didn't drop like a ton of bricks, to the ground, so less likely to use the FEL as a "man" lift.
I too use an IBC cage with my forks. I use a ratchet strap around the top of the cage to keep it secure and I have 2 large spring clips rated at 750 lbs each attached to D rings on the fork backplate and hooking onto the cage.

I'm sure that I've posted this on another thread, but I made a man basket for the forklift with some scrap material I had around. About a 4 foot chunk of catwalk, some 1.375" toprail and part of one of those home gym things that someone had set out to the street for free. View attachment 699189
