And right here is one of the guilty parties. Who chose to call me a dick repeatedly to the point of getting banned. Then coming back as an alias and calling me a dick again in every post. I asked if this is acceptable and was told by MC, that's the way it is. I left. So now this member does it here under disguise. MC sees it and does nothing. Again, because this member furthers the cause. Neat package.
Preferential treatment and Inconsistent application of "The Rule"

I have this particular member (steppedinaufulstuff) blocked for very similar reasons. He has nothing to offer that I am interested in.

Maybe it is not popular,, but, I believe the forum owner sets the rules.

THEN,, when the $$$ ebb,, or flow,, it is based on THEIR decision.

Money rules,, IF someone wants to step up, and write the checks,,
then, and ONLY THEN does this other individual get a say in the rules.

I have owned a business,, other than my wife, no one has ANY say in how to run the business.

MONEY RULES!!

Some guys have posted that they moderate other forums (not TBN) and the issues involved...making good points since rules must be interpreted unless the rules states "absolutely no..."
I have to disagree here. Having experience in another field or specialty does not automatically make a gateway for success in other areas.

Eh? Examples? TNT?

My impression is more like some people there seem to post while their minds are completely blank. :p

Very emphatic, no content.

LOL.

More like "no mind" and lots and lots of luggage. :)

Like I said, some of the posters over there are here on TBN. Yet the mindset and manners is POLAR opposite.

One site has moderation, one does not. :)

He could be a little frustrating sometimes but knew his stuff, contributed a lot, and seemed to stimulate conversations. In the past few weeks especially, I've noticed that many members who mainly posted about tractors, wood, and sawmilling don't seem to be around as much. Heck, I don't even see Sawyer Rob around as much as I used to.

The irony about OP's signature is that just one member seemed to take offense... and he takes offense at a lot of mundane things. Meanwhile there are other signatures which-to me, at least- seem to be there to generate controversy, yet they're allowed to remain.
Unfortunately my Biden quote (yes quote) was taken out of my signature because of a few vocal minority.

I think the "Report" button should be renamed "Karen"

And that's the way to take care of a poster you don't like or disagree with. In real life you just don't hang around them. But we have the "Karen" button for male Karen's that get their feeling hurt.

I don't. You have gotten on a slippery slope that starts off with "this is my opinion and therefore it must be right".
You don't sound open for discussion, your mind is made up. You consider it so obvious you make references to blunt objects.
Please don't speak for others, just yourself. Send Old Path a PM, no monitoring there and nice to be supportive.
despite my own deep faith I believe religion is not the answer for everyone.
And it sure will get folks upset, so best to stay far away from it.
