Hi guys,
I don't know if any of you guys have seen my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/bensfarmingchannel but i have been making videos for about a year now. I have had to make a lot of the videos unlisted as i has been getting a lot of negative comments from people in school who found them but i would like to know if you guys think i should continue to make them. I enjoy making them but want to know if people like to watch them so any comments will be greatly appreciated.
The links to my videos i have made unlisted are below:

PROFarms ... Took a quick look at a few of your videos.

First, kudos to you for sharing and taking the time. What I noticed was a lot of YOU and less of the topic at hand :) You can narrate without being on camera. Take a few minutes and plan your video before shooting, watch out for wind noise.

Hand held videos are terrible. Use a stand or a headband video camera.

Don't need to see the operator at all.

Always use good lighting.

Slow movements.

Put stuff on notes in outline and stay on subject.

Edit the video before posting.

I've shot a lot of 4wheeling videos over the years. As JJ pointed out, slow steady movements, rarely use zoom, focus on the topic at hand.

It's fun to do once you figure it all out!!! Thanks for posting.

Let me ask you this, do you like to watch your own videos?

Nobody likes bad lighting, face in camera, or jerking, and walking around, pointing the camera at someones feet.

No one likes someone holding a camera and trying to work at the same time.

I like to see good videos, and I do not like to see bad videos.

When you do make a video, watch it several times, and decide if it is worth while.

ok thanks J_J what do you think of the videos which i do not talk in like the combining one for example - surely thats ok isn't it? i see your point about light, face, walking etc but in to be honest i am only 15 and i haven't had much experience yet. will take into account what you say in my next video

Nice ideas - just need some fine tuning. Like others said, lights, angles, etc are all important. The thing to remember is it is better to spend 5 hrs making a good 5 minute video than spending 5 minutes making 50 bad ones. If you have a topic you want to show, plan it out, practice it, then shoot it, shoot it again, then edit all the footage together to make a good final product. I find most of the video out need to take the time to explain what they are doing and why they are doing it while showing it being done. Everything attachments makes some good videos and are other referenced by others - they maybe good examples to view.
Good luck and keep doing them, you are learning more and more every video and someone else out there is also learning something also.
