Does anyone know if we can purchase shop manuals for the 4000 series compacts? I have the parts CD (so let me know if you need me to look up anything), but would like a shop manual as well.

to purchase a hard copy of any product manual, or any
product manual not currently available online.

Call John Deere (go to there web page) I bought one and not only does it have info on your JD4400 it has thousands of other items on it(do you need decals for a JD barbecue grill?)I paid about $80.00 for it.It is a very good refrence for looking up parts...................................../w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Polaris,

Just like Hillbilly said. Not only does it have the tractor, but all of the attachments (loaders, cutters, mowers, etc), lawn & garden, handheld power equipment, etc.
