I have a 2004 Mahindra 4500 and the shift lever hydraulic that brings the bucket to it upright position got real hard after I dumped some dirt. I can not bring it to it's normal position. I can raise and lower the bucket but as I said after I dumped some dirt I can not raise the bucket, it has stayed in the dump position. Any suggestions.

Thanks,
Al

Disconnect your quick connect fittings, and reconnect. I've read this sometimes helps get some air out of the lines.

Can you move the lever, or is the bucket just not responding?

The lever can be moved in three positions, raise and lower the bucket and place the bucket in the dump position the level that would raise the bucket to it's normal position is very hard and will not buge. At present the bucket is in the dump position.

OK I will try that and get back with you. Thanks,

I have seen some of the loader valves get enough oil and condensation in the end cap to become hydro-locked. You would need to take the cap off and clean it out. Also have seen the orings that seals the spool become gummy and make the valve hard to move.
