Shibaura SD5040T engine problems - help please

Hi Guys,

I am in a bit of a mess here as the engine for my Shibaura has suffered some pretty bad damage - piston rings, pistons and crankshaft gone!

I am having no joy sourcing replacement parts or even a reconditioned engine.

Would anyone know if there are any compatible engines? I have read that Yanmar may be but which one? I keep drawing blanks so if anyone could help I would much appreciate it.
