I've hauled things many miles hanging off the back. I used to run back and forth to New York with the rear tires of my ATV planted onto the tailgate. I used to take it off my '84 F150 and use it for a ramp to load my little Yamaha XJ400. Yet I've never trusted it to handle as much weight as shown in that picture.... there's got to be 7 or 8 hundred pounds there.

Depending on the truck and year, I've seen anywhere from 250lbs to 500lbs. The 500lbs one was a truck with full metal bars instead of cables.

I guess the truck hit the pole at speed with the right front quarter, which caused it to do a partial endo up to the right, and it dropped back down and landed on the house?

Looks like he swerved or somehow hit the culvert and bounced the truck up, the rear hit the wires, broke the pole and came back down on the house with the upper half of the pole sitting on the truck (or maybe the house's roof on the other side?)

Seems the rear axle is ripped off/misplaced

Had a schoolbus driver texting drive into the ditch right near my driveway and jump my driveway once. Luckily the bus was empty and only she got banged up. It was impressive though, it went about 4' down in the ditch and hit the side of my driveway, went airborne over my driveway and an additional 20' before landing front wheels first and piling into the side of the ditch away from the road yet when they pulled it out minus some front quarter damage it looked like you could drive it away.

ETA: It also broke a 3-4" branch off the oak tree at my driveway that was easily 15' off the ground.

That truck was parked in the upstairs bedroom and he forgot to open the window and got hung up
