That truck weighs close to 30,000 pounds. 2 12k axles are not enough. I would guess the truck axle was over loaded as well.

The heaviest I’ve seen on a tri axel is 28,000. I’m guessing the tandem is closer to the 25k range. My guess on the trailer is 7500 pounds empty. It’s probably running 5k hitch weight. The trailer is a little overloaded and the 550 is probably ok. It’s not the worst load I’ve seen by a long shot.

there are lots of manufacturers that make dual tandem trailers with 15K axles and up to 38K GVWR. that looks like a 550 (fender flares) as was said with a 19K GVWR. with a rear axle rating of 13.5K. there is a good chance it is legal

I was going to say ... I don't see a pickup truck OR a 'monstrous' dump truck.

Doesn’t look like that handtruck has much suspension travel.

Look very close... count the wheels. I saw this a few weeks ago going up about 1500 ft of mountain. Old trailer welded to a truck chassis, no rear drive train. Necessity is the mother of invention...

I’ve seen a picture of a rig like that before. I think it would be a pretty handy rig but I can’t imagine the front drivetrain holding up very long.

Like so many pickups, the Fenders probably rotted out, requiring plan "B".

I was watching this the other day: I Bought a 6x6 Army Truck and it went Terrible. - YouTube

Guys bringing home their 6x6 Military Dump Truck. At some point (supposedly) they noticed the third wheel missing on their trailer. All bolts sheared off. HOW, would that even happen?

If it's like it looks (a 4wd pickup locked into 4wd with the rear driveline disconnected), it should hold up as long as it's not abused.
