Oh no, he has is all wrong. You definitely roll those windows down and run the straps through the car. Can't risk the straps blowing off.

It can't be a joke, and it can't be real. What the..........
Somebody linked an explanation a while back... Bored fire fighters & a tracks that were shutdown for a week.I've seen that one before and one can only hope that the boys were playing a joke on the rookie.
That one's a double winner! An A-frame to mount on the front of the towed car, or, take off the A-frame and clamp that crossbar on the back of the tow vehicle to tow using its ball.Remember Clamp on Bumper Tow Bars?

Saw this today, rural ND.
What do you do when you need to haul 14ft boards, and only have a 6ft truck bed?
That's an aluminum extension ladder btw, in case you can't tell from the pics (sorry for the dirty windshield - bugs).
Awe man! I had everyone else beat until this post lol.
I hauled x6 2x12x16 boards along with x24 2x8x8, box of joist hangers and 8 bags of quick Quick Crete in the bed of a 1999 F150 SuperCab with a 6ft bed.
I had the tailgate up and everything strapped down, it was an hour drive home.
