I confess to moving a truck like this a couple of miles...

I bought an old Model AA ton and a half truck... it as too long for my trailer so I towed it home with the Model AA dual rear wheels on the ground with a Chevy Luv pickup... about 6 miles on the back roads... I was 16.

Saw this today, No staps or chains plus no working lights on the trailer and the tires we half flat.

Likely overloaded as well. The excavator weighs 10.000 pounds and that appears to be a 7k trailer. There's a good chance the brakes on the trailer don't work either.

That's a nice excavator... I'm sure Insurance will cover the cost... should anything untoward occur...

If he can't afford the proper trailer, working lights, not registered (no plate), straps, chains, and binders what makes you think he has insurance.
