If he is from Webster then I have seen that vette. He wasn't pulling anything but I did notice the hitch on the back.

As a former Corvette owner--from C1 to C6, I understand the pain. BUT, I used to work in a garage in the 1960's and saw the hitch mounted on a 1957, which I think is the model shown. It was securely mounted and presented no mechanical problem in towing something light. I probably wouldn't do it today, but I don't think there would be any problem other than the pucker factor of the casual observer.
