I've seen peeled tops like that. Last one was under a bridged marked for clearance.. bt the marking was old, from before the state overlayed the road with another 4" of asphalt a couple times.

If the labeled clearance was incorrect, it sounds like a lawsuit in the works!

On Mobil I will get a warning so I haven't had them in a while

He was driving down the freeway. Traffic came to a stop and looking over I noticed the loose chain, then that only the rear axle was chained. Very dangerous.

What prevented them all rolling forward and smashing through the cab?

I'm not sure who paid what.. but it was a fiasco. took 2 large semi wreckers pulling the truck, plus they deflated it's tires.

it wa swedged under reeeeal good.

Closed a 6 lane hiway for about 5 hours!, PLUS the overpass was closed till they inspected it, thus all traffic was dumped off the overpass in both directions.. unfortunately, the entry and exit ramps were right in the snarl of the emergency vehicles trying to extricate the semi from under the bridge.

it was a classic 'cluster %$#^' of the 9th order.

On the flip side... there were no casualties, not counting the semi truck drivers underwear. and seat maybee.

This one took me by surprise.. Guess it wasnt as level as needed. but maybe if the operator hadnt jumped it would not have rolled back as far?
