About 25 years ago I needed work done on my boat so I took the 17' v hull to the marina in town. The ramp was very steep so the owner said he only allows himself to back the trucks and trailers up. I had a new GMC Sierra so I said great, then I wouldn't mess it up.

He backed down and I took the boat out for a drive and came back and hooked it up to the trailer when I was satisfied the boat was okay. I jumped in the truck and noticed he had it in 2 wheel drive without the parking brake on. It was sitting that way for half hour while I was driving the boat around the lake. The lake was about 13' deep about 20' from the shore.
I shook my head and under my breath bashed the guy for being an incompetent idiot. I dodged the bullet big time.

Seems like he is taking a huge liability on himself.

I would've said 'no thanks!' Nobody drives my vehicles by my wife and I, especially a brand new one!

Caught this right as I was leaving my dealers lot today. Not sue if this was wrong, but we all got a kick out of watching him leave.

Don't think it designed to go down the road at 65 mph though?

Max working speed is listed as 14MPH, they dont list a transport speed, but those are "on road" tires (listed as P175/70 - R14) so if it isn't swaying and has good bearings, its probably good for 65MPH :D.

We don't have a Vermeer, but I can assure you that our V rake has done a few miles at 65+ mph.
