IMO, a lot of mini-vans get pounded on way worse than pickup trucks.

Looks like the same guy, different truck though. Probably a number of pictures and videos of the guy since it's on the main road through Nairobi.

It's not often you get to see a Darwin Award candidate competing for fame weeks or months before the actual awards ceremony.

Here is a load of oak I hauled a few years ago. Drastic needs call for drastic measures. I know it was heavy with old equipment but that was the only heavy trailer I had.
After loading this trailer and truck I knew it was over-loaded but didn't want to unload it, I figured i would drive very defensively, and I did.
I got stopped a couple times but was let off with warnings to get the brakes fixed etc. I was told by a county cop there was a scale ahead but I told him I would just weigh it when I got home, which I did. I got stopped again and the cop said he burns wood so he understands why trucks get loaded to the hilt.
The trailer as I weighed it, was 14,500 if I recall. I bent an axle because it was from a very old mobile home and rusty. I made it home luckily and put one new axle on and hooked the brakes up. I also took the 2000 ball off it and put on a 30,000 pintle hook. Three more loads were smaller but still super heavy. Finally I was done and put another 6000# axle on it and sold the trailer.
Then the next year I bought a 16,000# deck-over GN for a move. I sure wish I would have had it when I had to clear those trees.
I dodged the bullet and learned my lesson so don't beat me up again.
