Only problem I see is the underinflated tires. Seriously, how did this ever get far enough along to chain it down?

I was wondering if it was a "billboard" for a business.

I suspect this is a haul road, not a public highway.

Put a 33# per foot 48' beam in my house..Called a local dude to get me one from a steel mill..He strapped it to the bed of what I think was a 10 ton dump...You should have seen that coming back the right of way...When he dumped it, he tilted the bed and nailed the truck..The beam slid against the bulkhead and had the truck on 2 wheels...I couldn't believe what I was seeing..He got out from under it and the truck came down normally...He didn't understand why I was in a state of shock...Good thing DOT or even the regular cops didn't see that one. Wish I would have had a camera for that.

I once seen a scary sight about 30 years ago, while visiting my in-laws A man delivered a tandem load of gravel to their next door neighbor, I'm not sure what happen but the trucks gate didn't come unlatched, when the Dump started lifting so did the front wheels of the truck, about 15 ft, off the ground actually, the driver tried all he could think of until he give up and climbed out of the cab, everyone was cautious not to get too close to the truck, the driver wound up getting a track-hoe out there, slowly removing the gravel from the truck until the front came down, much of the gravel had already spilled over the top of the gate, so the loader only had to remove about 4 buckets full when the truck started to come back down, I think when it was all said and done it was determined some mechanical failure with the gate latch mechanism,

I wonder why the driver didn't stop/reverse the lift when the front wheels first left the ground.

We were watching from next door and it looked like after he lift the dump about 4 ft high while setting still, He then give it the gas all at once the mound of gravel on top shift closer to the rear, actually some spilling over the gate, the cab went up and he stopped, It happen very quickly, I think the driver might had press the clutch back in but by that time he was hang time in the air due to the weight shifting toward the rear, he might had been overloaded, Both truck and him;)

One winter my propane guy and his wife , came to check my furnace. It had snowed a little and I have a steep driveway. Halfway up he spins out, roles back aways and stops, the truck stood on the rear bumper, do to the propane sloshing to the rear of the tank. By the time the truck came back down, his wife was halfway out the door, I think she wet her pants.

How? They are a single action cylinder on most dump trucks. If the truck is hanging from the box its not gonna come down.

I probably had in mind the guy who delivers my gravel with a smaller truck that has a double action scissors mechanism.

I saw an older early 90's Ford F-250 or 350 single rear wheel pulling a large wheel loader a week ago. Don't know the model or make but it was an older unit similar to the old Trojans and looked like it was around 10 ton. Was on a heavy enough trailer but the truck was on its blocks. Was running down a main state road into a busy town. It caught me by surprise as all you saw was the loader as it dwarfed the truck pulling it. I was going the opposite direction so no picture opportunity presented itself.

I don't have pictures but I saw Mahindra PU loaded with rice straw that the PU just disappeared under it. It looked like a pile of straw was riding on the road. In India.
While working in Russia we used to once while fly Kukuruznik (AN2 biplane) to our destination. It would hop from village to village along the route. People transported all kinds of stuff but what stuck in my memory is "babushka" (old woman) with two goats holding their necks underarm.

This is little off topic but it is funny (at least for the bystanders). When I was a kid we used to heat houses with coal. One of our neighbors got the delivery of about 5-6 tons of coal and wanted to deliver it to the shed. The coal guys were paid to deliver the coal to any place within the house. In many cases they had to load it in buckets with straps like back pack and carry it, in example, to a cellar. Since the shed was on the end of the driveway they decided to reverse the truck inside and unload the coal there. The problem was that the door opening was few inches too low. So they decided to let the air from tires to get the truck in. When inside they unloaded the coal but doing so the truck rose up and they couldn't get it out. They had to load the coal back and drive the truck out and then carry the coal inside. We have saying (rhetorical question): Why is it that the lazy person gets strained?

Animal cruelty people should be all over this.... that's a fine waiting to happen. Poor cow... traumatized hamburgers taste bad.

it may have been a downer.. and they couldn't get it into a stock trailer with a fork lift or loader bucket...
