Question about tying down and didn't want to start another thread. I was brought up that the implement/car/tractor should be "stretched' if possible, from the frame to the trailer in an X pattern. I haul small SUVs and small pickups where it is a pain to hook to the frame usually. I am very interested in these but am concerned that the vehicle will then bounce with it's suspension along with the trailer suspension, creating a pogo-stick! Am I freaking over something that would be negligible? Thanks.

Here's one I saw yesterday doing 65 Mph down the highway. Only thing holding it all together is the center strap over the top bales squeezing it all together.

A suspension is designed to let the vehicle move while the wheels/tires stay planted, that's kind of it's whole point for existing. If you strap the wheels down properly, they are secure & the suspension does it's thing as it was designed to.Many, many people tie down with axle straps with no worries.
