Tongue weight is fine. Combined truck and trailer capacities are fine. Nobody is going to point out the invisible chains holding everything in place?

I always chain everything down thoroughly when moving it across the lawn, so I am sure that he did also.

Well it didn’t get a textbook 4 point chain job on the tractor plus 2 more on the loader and bush hog plus another one for each loose implement plus another one for the ramps but I did put a chain across each end. I needed to load a pallet of block on the truck the other day and the trailer was hooked up and I didn’t want to unhook it. So I sat the pallet of block on the front of the trailer and then drove the skid steer up the trailer and picked up the block, drove forward and set them on the truck. That was a pretty front heavy load.

There was a bit of sarcasm there. The trailer would haul 4 times that much.

Thank God. Although, if you were serious, I was glad to see someone err on the side of massive overkill! Truck on.

I assumed the picture was taken before chaining or after removing them.

Considering the trailer outweighs the load I’d say massive overkill is a true statement. I’d rather move a little tractor with a big truck vs a big tractor with a little truck.

I saw that sitting in a field in an obviously not being used condition so I stopped and asked about it. The owner priced it cheap so it’s mine now. It’s nice to have around for when my 1 ton isn’t enough truck for the job.

It always got me that a small tractor or a large tractor on a trailer don't leave much empty space on a the trailer.

That's not on the road is it? Hopefully just moving around the parking lot. Looks like a 2" coupler or smaller, sitting on top of a 2 5/16" ball. Notice the trailer light plug hanging free, and a plug adaptor sitting on the bumper.

On a major highway in traffic. I took the picture at the redlight. He was in a line of 8 cars. He was also pretty far from any water big enough for a boat.

Lol. I've been known to to not even latch the hitch moving a trailer across the yard with a ball on my pallet forks... even after its bounced off the ball twice already.

That was a tongue in cheek comment, as he has gotten comments before about pics posted when moving things across the yard.
This attempt to move my woodsplitter didn't go as planned. They just don't make bungie cords the way that they used to.

He'd be better off if he put it on the trailer tongue to help hold it down.

Turn the flashing lights on. He was on the roadway with an oversized load. If I felt like being a tool, I could follow him until he lost part of it and add unsecured load. Depending on the size of the trailer, possibly a registration violation. I like to give warnings to people with the opportunity to unf—- themselves. Of course, the type of people rocking loads like this usually have a lot of problems with their vehicles, licenses, and warrant history.

That is exactly what I thought about it, except I am not law enforcement.

All the half *****, suspended license, convicts that do tree work have an overloaded, too small trailer like that. I know some of them move or grow up into legit businesses, but gosh dang. Alot ot them just continue on barely making it forever or until the next jail stint.
