It a cult classic... the movie.
Amazing how the movie makes one sympathize with the "bad" guys and root for them as they struggle to survive. I still remember being shocked and saddened by the unexpected ending.

Saw this today....the window was hazy, so the picture is poor, but you get the idea. No towing involved, but he had the bed loaded down....what was left of it.

He's lucky that didn't crush his leg or worse. It's kinda funny how much easier that would have been if he backed into that sloped driveway so the ramp angle would have been much lower. Oh well. We all learn somehow...

That's the reason why I make sure the strap is attached from the ramps to the bumper. Then the ramps can't slip off the tailgate. Jon

And to stay on topic - here was a guy loading wood at home dept the other day. Rear end of truck almost lifted off ground, so they unhooked trailer and used cinder blocks. I did not stick around for carnage, so you can use your imagination. :)

In his defence, it's the only way for the forklift to get it on the trailer. I bet step 2 is the forklift "rear ending" the load to push it forward where it belongs, at least to some degree.

I got a full bundle of landscaping timbers loaded the same way. Didn't get em far enough forward though, but it towed well enough for the 3 miles home at slower speed.
