With the big rounds in the front you would assume that there is a fair amount of weight in front of the axle, but closer look at the rear truck wheels and trailer tires shows he is tail heavy.
I didn't think it looks loaded wrong until he started loosing control. That's why I use Weigh Safe Hitchs. You can't always tell. With the big rounds in the front you would assume that there is a fair amount of weight in front of the axle, but closer look at the rear truck wheels and trailer tires shows he is tail heavy.
My tilt deck has no tounge weight empty and rides horrible.@duramaxsky I think the issue is the tilt deck trailer throwing weight and loading perception off. I suspect that trailer has very little tongue weight empty, and could potentially be squirrelly on a good day without a load.
Unloaded my trailer leans back a bit. When it sits level i have tongue load. 9k lbs at 65mph is no problem with my Volvo, as long as its a low center of gravity like retaining wall blocks, and not a tractor. With tractors id rather keep below 6k and 55mph.I didn't think it looks loaded wrong until he started loosing control. That's why I use Weigh Safe Hitchs. You can't always tell.
I love my Weigh Safe. I may not know how much the load is, but I know how much tongue weight I have. You can guess how much load weighs ballpark to do the tongue weight calculations.I didn't think it looks loaded wrong until he started loosing control. That's why I use Weigh Safe Hitchs.
