I'm surprised those toolboxes can hang over the edge of that pickup like that. Know a guy who got hassled in a gas station parking lot by cops, (a few years ago) because he had a wheelbourough handle just slightly sticking out the side. Someone started filming and the cop backed off and went away.

Not a boat person, didn’t know they had plugs. Thought they pumped water out.
Hang out at the local boat access for a couple hours. It's actually pretty entertaining. There are usually a couple that will forget to put the plug in.

Seen one idiot roll up to a marina while dad and I were filling up his boat. Brand new bass boat. Complaining that it handled like a slug, wouldn't plain for sh##. You name it he was complaining about it.

Bout halfway through his rant, with dad, me, and the marina attendant admiring his boat. We noticed straps attached to the side.

The idiots trailer was attached to the bottom of the boat :confused2:

He felt like a pretty big fool and skedaddled out of there pretty quick when we pointed out his performance issues. How he didn't lose the trailer is beyond me. We thought about following him to see how he managed to get the trailer out, but then decided better of it.

Just when you think you've seen it all, someone ups the stupid.

It all has to do with the 80" law and lights. If you are under 80" and pickups just barley are you are good. Over 80" and you need ICC lights front and rear. They are the 3 in the center. If you have those you are good to 102".Thats why dually pickups have them. And raptors well as the 4 wheel steering GM pickups from the early 2000s.

But I guess the boxes wouldn't stick out beyond the fenders anyway on a dually.

That rent me trailer is obviously a scrap run.

That’s exactly what I would do. Pay probably $500 for a wrecker that’s probably going to take an hour to get there or hook on it and pull it down the road. I’ve never pulled a truck that big but I’ve pulled vehicles on a chain and it’s not that bad.

I see no problem with pulling the truck with a tow strap. I mean... Doesn't 'tow strap' imply it's made for towing?

Do any of you remember back 'in the day' when it was very proper to give someone a push just using the bumpers on vehicles? That was normally a welcome gesture from someone that was broke down. If the bumpers came even close to matching, courtesy called for you to give them a push. That gesture in today's world will end up landing you in court.

And probably about $1500 damage to your vehicle unless you’re very lucky.

Or more in case of an air bag or air bags went off

Yep, triple that if air bags went of and some airbags will go off pretty easily. And when the bags blow you will also be replacing the windshield.

However, I’ve seen a few wrecks where the damage was such that it didn’t hit the sensors and although pretty severe the Airbags didn’t deploy.
