As part of my weekend "what can I check on my tractor" schedule. I remembered to check the steering oil. Well I don't think there was any in there. After locating the standard 3/8" square plug (painted red at once), and removing that sucker 1 degree at a time (I needed a 3" wrench or remove another bracket), I filled and filled with oil. I figured I'd just need a top off so I didn't look at the bottle. I must have put in at least 6-8 ozs, It was dry. Still steers about the same but it's got some lube in it now. I used standard 80-90w gear oil. You can see the red plug just in front of the hose.
