Tractor
2008 Kubota L3400
I plan on using my L3400 about 8 hours a day for a couple weeks as I prepare my new ranch for occupancy (making a drive, a pad for a cabin, a pad for trailer, a pad for 40 ft container, etc). Should I be using a grease gun on a daily basis, weekly, monthly? I take delivery of the tractor in about a week. A 2008 L3400 with 63 hours.

I like to grease my tractor every 10 hours at least.I grease the bucket pins on the loader and backhoe at least once a day and sometimes twice if I am using it a lot. These are the ones that seem to take the most abuse and wear the quickest. It is hard to over grease.

I grease my tractor by the manual, but grease my implements each day.

For what its worth, every morning before you start, pull out the grease gun and give a few shots. The price of grease is cheap compared to parts and labor and down time. When i had my backhoe, it was greased every day and the gun stayed on the machine, in plain sight. I have found if its in sight you think to use it .. . John :thumbsup:

I'm in the "Grease is cheap, Pins are expensive" group.

If you are using it everyday for 8hrs a day you should be greasing it every morning.
