I bought one but only paid about $79. It comes in loose leaf style and you have to put it in your own binder. I've used it a bit and figure it's a pretty cheap investment for a tractor I'll have for 20 or 30 years. YMMV!

I bout one as well, I think it cost about 80.00, and it too was a loose leaf format. It was for a L 3130.

I purchased the service manual for the Grand L series at a cost of $82 and change. The price you quote must include the parts manual mbut you can get that for download from www.tractorsmart.com. I have always bought the service manuals for my cars, trucks and tractors. Money well spent and saved many times over in self repair or knowing what the problem was before going to the dealer.

Look on Ebay; if you're patient you can get one cheaper there. But I agree with the other posts - with the money already invested in a quality tractor, manuals, oil, and filters are cheap.

I think my service manual ran @ $74. While most of it is defintely aimed at the dealer / service department - there is a whole lot more content than the owners manual that makes it worthwhile: for example - there are detailed troubleshooting charts for each major sub-system (ex. electrical, engine, transmission etc.) - so hopefully you can find an answer there if you need it.
While I'm certainly willing to roll-up my sleeves & get my hands dirty - there's no way I'm going to even attempt some of the repairs / disassemblies that they show! (like splitting the tractor in half to work on a section of the HST or clutch!!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif)
If you're planning on doing all the fluid / filters changes - and at least attempting *minor* repairs yourself - then I think this is a *must have*.
I only wish it included better spare part breakdowns / listings. The Tractorsmart.com site doesn't have the parts overtly listed for my B7610 last I checked (but I just sent an email inquiry to be sure) - luckily my dealer is only @ 10 minutes from work - so I can swing by during lunch. Really a shame that Kubota doesn't make their dealer parts / exploded view system available on-line!

I received an e-mail reply from Mr. Ronnie Bowman @ Tractorsmart.com - which included links where I could download the parts manuals for my B7610, LA 352 FEL and MMM - even though these are not explicitly listed on the site - this is the same stuff I saw on the dealers' computer!
These are great "exploded-view" drawings - very easy to see what goes where - great addition to my Work Shop Manual!

I think it is OEM, has a lamated fold out mantaince sheet, printed in Japan. But was in a plain 3 ring binder. This was find, because made scanning it into a PDF file easier /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
