Serious Task Lighting

Here is my solution for lighting. There are 2- 500 watt halogens on 3 hinged arms that stick out 9 feet from the sidewall. I have 9 foot ceiling and I also hang a power cord from it. It was one of my first welding projects with my Lincoln 200 Power Mig (230V) weldor

Lights glowing. I bought the two 500 watt bulb that mounted on a tripod for ~$22 on sale at WalMart and discarded the tripod. Each light is aimable. It ended-up about 7' high with the inevitable sagging.

First pivot off the wall bracket. There are 3 three foot swinging arms and it will fold out of the way along the wall

Excellent idea. I saved your photos....already have the lights and iron. BUT - no welder yet....I did, however, mention to my wife that we need one. I'm watching the auction ads - lots of farm stuff comes up between now and May.
