I would like to offer this info to those of you that would like to know
how our United States Post Office works sending a envelope with about 15 pages to say Australia

hear is the rub dealing with the US post office
sending a letter size envelope with about 15 pages to Australia WITHOUT the 1 " two prong clip to hold the pages together is $ 10.72
sending it with the small clip is $ 22.75

That's OK Mate... your two prong clip would've been SAE anyway. We're Metric and would've had to re-punch the holes.
