Self Leveling Valve for Kubota LA Loaders

/ Self Leveling Valve for Kubota LA Loaders #12
My M62 has the self leveling loader. Just hit a lever by the loader joystick and you are good to go. I like it when loading and unloading things out of or into trucks or on and off trailers. Ive been with out before, but it does make life a tad easier. If you can jam the joystick in the corner and get it to stay level as you raise and lower it you will be fine with out, but by all means if you want it and use the machine for work then it sounds like you need a tax deduction.

I find I only use my M59 self levelling feature when running forks. It slows things down and the positioning isn't as repeatable/accurate as I've experienced on the mechanical load levellers. I don't like using it for bucket work. What's your experience on the M62?

Ok guys, I went out and took some pics.
you can see the mechanical arms going into the spool loader control manifold, but nothing is hooked to them, the picture where you see me pointing to a lever should have a rod hooked to it, but I can not find where it would have attached on the bucket. As for there being another valve body mounted on the loader arm, I do not see any signs of where it might have been. There is a extended pin in the upper curl cylinder, my guess is that is where the bucket level rod went or maybe something having to do with the auto level. I just don't know.

Any thoughts, or is this how it is suppose to be?

thanks
MrC.

Thanks for the link but it appears to be for an LA534.

Has anyone seen a kit for an LA1055? Ordering individual parts is an option but would be quite expensive.

I gave you the information (post #9) you need to order the kit as wholegoods already for $599 right from Kubota. If you want to look elsewhere, it's your prerogative.

Wholegoods is NOT the parts department. It's the sales group that would sell you a tractor. They sell "kits" in Sales and will be cheaper than buying the parts individually from the parts department. The Parts Dept. will not give you wholegoods prices. Seems crazy but this is the way it is.

FYI... You generally will not find the item number shown in post #9 on Messick's or any other online parts seller as it is NOT sold as a PART. It has to be purchased from Sales.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your desire, so I apologize if I am.

Good luck!

MrC. Perhaps to reduce confusion with what the OP is looking for, you should have started a new thread as the two applications appear to be different.

If you search on Kubota's web site under Illustrated Parts List, you're likely to find what you're looking for. Not knowing your Serial number or Tractor specifics, I ventured over to it and found the leveling valve and associated hoses fairly quickly.

Here are a few screen shots to get you started.

Hope this is helpful in finding the answers you seek.

Thank you moship
i was not trying to high jack. I understood there to be two different systems. One hydraulic the other mechanical. Yes I ask if anyone had reference to the older mecanical system. Do to mine missing some pieces. But fully intended to learn more about the both systems offered.
thank you for the information you provided.

Sorry Moship. I don't know how I missed your post.

Thanks for the information. I'll talk to my dealer about it.

Did you have any luck with the dealer? How does it work if you installed it?

Dealer quoted me a price of $610 with tax for the kit. He did mention the linkage used to activate the self leveling valve is fragile and can easily be damaged if caution isn't used when operating the FEL. I'd like to get a look at one to see if this will be a problem for me since I work in some pretty knarly locations. So far, all I have is the exploded parts diagram for the kit. In any case, I'm waiting until spring to order it since the tractor is used for snow removal now.
