I have a 17 year old Kubota B7500 and a 18 year old Cub 2186 that live outside. Both seats have cracks all over about an inch wide and as long a 12 inches. I became frustrated with the "wet bottom" deal so I took some "Great Stuff" insulating foam sealant that I've had for several years and fixed it.
1 - Trim curled up edges until flat.
2 - Insert Great Stuff tube in crack and press along the length of the crack.
3 - Let it dry for a couple hours.
4 - Trim the dried foam with a sharp knife flat with the surface of the seat. You can use a flat rasp for curved areas if you wish.
5 - Using a pair of surgical gloves (disposable) cover filled crack with black Shoe Goo and smooth with your glove covered finger making sure there is over-lap to good seat surface
(a putty knife does not work).
6 - Let it dry over night.

The top of the Kubota seat was significantly deteriorated and required a bit more finesse to rebuild the foam. I used a flat rasp to smooth the Great Stuff before applying the Shoe Goo but it worked.....It is not pretty but so far so good.

Just a thought......Sometimes frustration can be the mother of invention.......Jerry
