Seat cushion

Bouncing around in the field is killing my back, my seat has no suspension. I've looked at a few pillows and cushions designed for tractor seats to soften things up. Has anyone tried one of these cushions that they'd recommend?

I'd also be thinking about changing the seat to one with some kind of suspension to eliminate the bumpiness, rather than just trying to use a cushion to absorb the bumps.

My seat is really bad and I tried different seat cushions. Everything I tried was better, but not great until I was surfing around in Ebay and came across seat cushions for wheal chairs. They use a high quality foam that is night and day better then anything else I've ever seen. I've had it for almost ten years now and it's still in fantastic condition. I used to be in pain after an couple hours of mowing, but with the cushion, I can go all day and be comfortable.

Thanks, never would have thought about that. There's two large medical supply stores that carry this kind of stuff close to my house, I'll stop in there sometime and check them out.

I've looked into that, it always looked like more of a major project than I wanted to get into. Also the suspension systems raised the seat up a good bit and I'm not very tall. Don't want to have to put training blocks on the pedals.
