Seat Covers

My truck is just one year old and I'm starting to think that I'm too dirty, sweaty and just plain nasty to sit in it after a days work. I have cloth seats and with the humidity, sawdust, sheetrock dust and everything else that comes from remodeling houses during the day, I can be pretty rough by the time I finish for the day and drive home.

What can I put on my seats to protect them and keep them from starting to smell bad over time? Do you know of a good brand? What should I look for?

Cabelas has some nice covers. Machine washable too.
I would look for ones fitted to your truck. The universal ones tend to be a little baggy and bunch up.

Covercraft and caltrend are two that I have used. Covercraft would be my first choice.

Might want to make sure they are compatible with your side air bags. I know some have special stitching on the side of the seat that is designed to allow air bag deployment. I use beach towels but am also interested in what you find.

I would pay extra to delete leather. I am probably in the minority though. Had two vehicles and hated the leather in both. Hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Burning my legs is not luxurious and both were cracked and wrinkled before age of 5.
