SCV stops retracting cylinder when lever is pushed all the way

Sorry for misleading if the OP is not using the joystick, but sticking to my guns if so. On my JD and all other 5xxx utilities I've seen having only std SCVs they are controlled by the joysick. IIRC, additional/optional SCVs (3) have their own separate operating levers as factory-installed. Didn't see where the OP specified how many SCVs are on his, or see which controll lever(s) he's using in the video. Of course I'm assuming his 5055E is minimally equipped, as so many like it are.

It's not only joystick valves that have float or regen functions, and I'm not looking at the whole installation. :ashamed:

Any SCV other than the loader dump/curl valve will not have REGEN.

The REAR SCV (and there is only one on this tractor) controls the sprayer volute. I can't use the joystick because it controls the mid mount SCV's which operate the loader.

I would say that there is a 90% chance that you have a bad quick connect. Can you temporarily plug into the loader valve just to isolate the problem?

Totally missed the cab thing, too. :duh: (Might have noticed that in a pic. :ashamed

Envy the cab's mid SCUs for the joystick, but found the kit wa$ a bit much. (Creaky old guy plumbed 90s onto his QDs for grip.)

Hope the QD is all you have to deal with. :thumbsup:
