SCUT FEL lifting force

After looking at the axle it looks pretty beefy, I am pretty sure it wouldn't have a problem lift a bucket full of dirt or a shy of a bucket full or rocks. If I need to lift something flat like a pallet I would the 3point hitch.

The front axle should be rated to handle whatever the loader is able to lift.

XFAXMAN: I enjoy your pictures of that thing, even if looking makes me temporarily cross-eyed. Reminds me tractors are a big world and to keep an open mind.

It has worked out better than I expected. Put it together in 2005. Here is a brush pile from June 2006, piled a little at a time, with the 2' long forks.

And the fireplace rake on the forks.

Holy smokes people, does this thing move some dirt now! Before I would only be able to sink my FEL in a couple inches then I wouldn't be able to lift my bucket. So I would only skim the top as best as I could until I hopefully got enough dirt worth while to move. And if I did get enough dirt worth while to move I wouldn't be able to lift it.

I still have to skim since I don't have a big tractor but I can skim deeper and lift my bucket when needed and get a bucket full of dirt. It's a lot easier to manipulate the bucket in the dirt when needed to get more dirt. I can lift the bucket full of dirt over the dirt pile now as well.

Thanks for all your help on the issue being "bypass"! I never knew what it was and I never would have suspected it either since my bucket lift pistons didn't leak.

My neighbor built his own loader that he put on an Old Bolens yard tractor...He has NO problems moving rock or what ever, it's a lil' working machine. It looks a lot like your machine....You will learn real fast what you Can and Can Not do, with it.
