Never used them but seen them used at the marina.

Sister-in-law and her husband have something similar. They use them on a fifth wheel RV. They seem to be happy with them

I just use the plastic wedges, or wooden blocks.

Carrying a couple 2x4's are plastic wedges would be just as easy. I am not a professional thief but would simply let the air out of one of the tires and away it would go. Those are primarily used to prevent rocking on rvs.

Thanks for the input. I saw a mention of preventing rocking, but was not sure what they were talking about. I always thought a rockin' RV was a good thing!

I'm not worried too much about theft. I have a coupler lock that will stop the casual thief. I was really thinking it would be easier to keep track of those versus plastic chocks.

I've seen a home made version, take a 4x4 pressure treated, cut angles on it, stack one on top of the other and put a bolt between them.

(little googleing and i have a pic worth a thousand words)

The Northern Tool style are good for minimizing "rocking" on a RV trailer, but they are not the best to prevent rolling movement. If you forget to remove them and start rolling, they will just spit out the side. Don't ask me how I know!
