i grew up on lake michigan so theses ponds down remind me of mud puddles but......

my neighbors grandson the other day, out of the mud puddle in granddads back yard!

There is a country song that talks about the land, country, farm and all its wonders. Then it says —- “but the view I love the most, is my front porch looking in.”

You have to get off-pavement to get to these special areas of Nevada.

If ever you are near Elko, Nevada, do yourself a favor and take the (paved road) Lamoille Canyon drive. I got there just a little bit late last year, leaves had mostly hit the ground.
