Sceaming hydraulic noise.

I have a Branson 5835r. It has been a very good tractor. However, sometimes while tractor is running and in the neutral position a screaming noise happens. I assume it is hydraulic related. To make the noise stop I turn the tractor off and immediately started it again. Does anyone have any idea what is happening? And how to prevent it from happening

Sorry to hear about your trouble with your 5835. I've been looking at buying that very tractor. If/when you find the solution to your issue, please keep us up to date.

Possibly try lowering the 3 point hitch a little to see if the noise stops. Chance that feed back link is borderline on adjustment so it randomly thinks the 3 point needs to raise a little more.

Could the sound be from the relief valve opening due to dead headding? I've had that happen when one of the remote levers gets stuck out of the neutral position.

I recently noticed when the noise starts, if I throttle up the engine for a short second the screaming stops.??
