My grandpa had one of those screw log splitters hooked directly to the PTO on an H farmall.there where two bars that came off the tractor you would set the wood on to keep it from spinning.
All i remember from that right is it would take the wood fast and pop the two pieces would fly apart. thing scared the crap out of me. there was a string going from the H's kill switch to grandpa's hand just in case the screw got him he could try to kill hte tractor quick but honestly that screw took those peices of wood pretty fast human guts wouldn't last long.

When clicking ahead after looking those videos, i found this unusual axe:

That is a very impressive video of an innovative splitter. It seems to trade
twisting action for heavy mass. Over US$230, however. I like the tire idea,
too. I will have to try it with my 14 lb splitting maul.

I wont pay 190 euro for it either, when getting a conventional one for 25....
