Last time I used my sc2400 I was grading some gravel floating the bucket. It seemed "sticky" coming out of float, taking much more force to release the float than I remember previously.

So before I take apart the loader valve, has anyone experienced this and is there an easy fix?

Thanks

Sounds like the detent assembly on the end of your valve spool could be full of crud. Usually with a little time and care these can be cleaned up. Take a look at the directional valve for your loader. On the end opposite where the control linkage connects there should be a cover held on by bolts. Under this cover is the centering spring and detent assembly. There are different styles of detent assemblies and I have no idea which style is on your valve.

Thanks, appreciate it. It resolved itself when I was using it today, so if it returns I will go your route. Thanks again.
