Hey Gordyy, Any power issues with the bigger blower?

not really have been in some really heavy stuff with it went thru a drift taller than the machine ( really slow) but it handles it really well
The sc2400 manages to snap sheer bolts on a pretty regular basis I am guessing put another 5 or 7 hp on it and they would snap even more

Did you have to ballast the rear of the 2400 for that large blower? It seems the blower hangs far ahead of the front tires. I was just wondering if it makes the rear of the machine go a little light when you lift up the blower. That looks like an awesome snow removal machine. I need one!

I have the rear tires filled with rim guard about 240 lbs or so just because my sons and I do a lot of repair work and its so much faster than moving engines and trannies around than the cherry picker a big block hanging turn the wheel and give er the onion and it tips right over the front tire without the weight in it
also I had to change the front tires on it the sidewalls fell apart (you think they would take into account the weight of the loader when you by it) had the new ones foamed I have to climb a lot of curbs when doing snow work the foam just made sense after a couple torn off valve stems
but it is light on the rear would put the weight box I built on but then I cant fit into a couple tight spots I blow

finally warmed up here today went over and made a hole for someone who is moving drove into a 5 ft tall roadgrader bank turned the blower on and creeped right on in over the curb across the boulevard and up to the house

it is the real deal as far as blowers go

And on a plus note I just finished up the hard back for the cab (the vinyl that came with it made the first year ok but was failing fast this year so made a steel back for it cut out a square section to put a window in I actually enclosed the roll cage inside the cab now it was just easier to cut and build with the limited fabricating tools now at my disposal what a difference that made last weekend in the -30 windchills

found another little issue
I have had the down pressure hose loosening up ever since I got this.
Have talked to dealer they had no idea, replaced fitting on end of hose thinking bad thread MPT.
Finallly noticed the other day on while on trailer a little wear or scuff mark on the tractor mounted front mounting plate, had the blower off and loader on, put blower back on and found that the hose on the lift cylinder (down pressure side) would push against this plate about 1/2 inch behind fitting crimp when putting full down pressure on blower, or when going into a packed drift etc. pulled blower off took plazma cutter out trimmed 1/4" off bottom of bracket should fix the problem. Just thought I would mention it in case someone else has a problem with this, the only other person I personally know with one of these is having the same issue not as bad as he uses his for an hour or maybe an hour and a half per snow event not 8 to 9 hours as I do.
the new Metal rollers on the chute took care of that problem.
I am still impressed with this blower its working the way they said the first one should have

here even a couple pics as I was taking everything off
these are after 200+ hrs of use probably more than most get in a lifetime
the two pics are of the rollers used to hold the chute I went thru 12 plastic rollers as they were kind of rationing them out to everyone and as mine went first they sent a lot of plastic to the dealer and told me to burn em. as long as they went on the back side (not next to chute rotator motor) they last pretty good. The two metal ones they gave me right away have been on for over 125 hrs now and no wear at all so thats a fixed problem. have to straighten the sides where I have bent in the bottom a bit rubbing up against curbs and steps and such and a little straightening on the feed augers (property manager told me where one brick planter was I found the second one when pieces of brick started blowing out.

On another note here are a few pics of the metal back and glass windshield I put in this winter too, That factory plastic thing sucked big time all the way around. made the cab 15 degrees warmer on the -25 days with the 30 mph wind. the back glass comes out with three bolts for the summer used some flat to go into the factory bolt inserts in the cab then layed flat up and out around the rollcage to get a bigger glass and view of the world. Still have to make a bracket to mount 2 7.62 ammo boxes on under the window for tool and chain boxes outside, and also will mount 3 zippered pouches on the back inside for tools.

I've been wanting to mount an ammo box to the yield sign mount for tool use, myself.

Do you mind if i ask how many hours you have on your machine now?
And whether you have experienced any problems thus far with the tractor itself?

Seems like you put the most seat time in of the members that own one.
