satoh s650g/starting problem

tryed to start it today but nothing. battery is new.when i turn the key nothing happens, no turning of the starter but lights work. tried jumping the starter and it just spins but doesnt engage. it has been quite cold here lately so checked block and antifreeze but its good. i justed used the tractor a week ago and everything was fine. does anyone have any sugestions? thanks cam

Cam, Make sure your High-Low tranny lever is in nuteral. There is a little button on it and 2 wires if I remember right. Hope that helps you.
