Thanks for all the help on my previous post. I guess the hydraulics and the rear end shares oil. I think the original oil fill cap under the seat had a dipstick on it, ours has been replaced with a steel cap. would someone with the same tractor measure the oil height from the top of the housing. Thanks

My old 650G does not have a dip stick, just a plastic screw plug that is labled OIL.

Manual states "Turbine oil No. 120 (Capacity 0.92gal - 3.5 lit)

Now let me see if I can attach the first page of hyd. from manual.
Maybe it will be a little help.

The hydraulics and the rear end are separate reservoirs on the S650G. Hydraulic oil in the reservoir under the seat. Gear oil in the transmission. Check the hydraulic oil level on the left side of the case. Older tractors had a sight glass. Newer tractors have a level plug. Check the transmission level on the left side of the transmission by your left foot.
