Salt/Sand Spreaders

I am looking for some advice or information,I would like to install a salt/sand spreader on the rear of my CK25, my plan is to mount on top of my box blade Just wondering if anyone has attempted to do this in the past,I would prefer to use the pto to power the spreader rather than electric motor. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Be careful what you get for salt or some fertilizers. You need to make sure it has stainless steel opening control gates, and a good agitator. Some people prefer the poly hoppers to avoid corrosion issues.

MichiganIron,I'm only to familar with the affects of fertilizer,salt on the cheaper steel spreaders,Have several small hand push ones most of which are a mass of rust now,even though we try to wash them after each use.
Last spring I sent my crew out to fertilize a dozen lawns with 3 hand spreaders,the last lawn they done was right on the Atlantic Ocean;yep you guessed it they washed spreaders in the salt water,I did salvage one but the other 2 are toast.
