SA 424 Jib

Welded up a small jib for the 424, it’s 2” heavy wall tube and 5’.

My best guess is 300 lbs at full tip out. Use it for loading/unloading my 5th wheel hitch and generator, stuff gets heavier as I get older !!!

Very nice. Did you weld up the attachment plate as well? Looks very handy.

I have used a jib for years with my skid loader and thought that it would be handy for the 424 as well, probably can handle more than the 300 pounds that I’ve limited it to lifting but it’s alI need it for. Found the mounting tabs on eBay and the guy had two pair so I bought them both.

Jibs are handy and pretty inexpensive so very nice to have.

When you say mounting tabs are you referring to the parts that are on the back of the bucket for example that allow the bucket to mount on the loader?
