s370 injeter pump

can any one tell me how to pull the pump on this little guy
other than just pulling it off dose it need to be at a timing setting like TDC ???

It just pulls off. Timing is set with shims under the pump. Be careful when reinstalling the linkage to the pump that it goes back into the same position as when you removed it otherwise it could cause rack setting issues (too much or no fuel). I've pulled these pumps a number of times and never had problems with the linkage going back together but it's something worth paying attention to.
