Hello everyone, I am having issues with the 3pt on my tractor, It is not easy to regulate the position of the implement, For example while using a blade on the rear moving some gravel around when it comes time to slightly raise the blade you can move the lever slightly to raise the arms and the lever moves about a inch with out anything happening then once you move the lever far enough the arms raise all at once to a higher then desired position, you cannot feather it at all.
I have the top link in the "No Draft" hole, have tried shutting the lowering speed valve down to slow the response and the draft control lever position does not change anything either.
It is under warranty but I don't want to spend 4 hours on the road twice if I can adjust something myself, Any ideas?

Is this a new issue or is it something that has always been happening but you are just now noticing?

Not knowing your experience, I'll start with the obvious: do you know where ground level is on your 3ph? On my DK50SE it is between 4 and 5 with my box blade. Now, this can be dramatically different depending on the implement you are using. Point being that there isn't a noticeable difference between 1 and 4 when I use the box blade. At 4 I can feel the tractor really starting to take the weight of the blade. From 4 to 6 there is a fairly large change in height (relatively speaking) so most of my feathering happens in that range.

You mentioned you were using a rear blade. Some of those are very far from the pins, so when you lift them a little, the blade moves a lot.

Of course, if you are familiar with all this, you stopped reading a long time ago. Hope this helped!

I only have 50 hours on it, But every thing else I have used on it is either up or down, I think it has been this way since new but I never noticed it till trying to use this blade, The blade is a long ways from the pins but the arms them self's move a long ways, it seems to go in steps, if you slowly move the position lever up after you move it a inch the arms suddenly move up a couple inches, then they stay still as you continue to move the lever then all the sudden they will go up another couple inches, etc. all the way to the top

Have you brought this to the attention of your selling dealer? You don't have to take it to them to discuss it over the phone.
Pictures are helpful too.
