My gosh what a thread! Shows the emotion behind environmental control. I kind of get a kick out of it! Any law protecting or allowing any particular wildlife event is like a "BB Rolling Around in a Boxcar" on the evolutionary scale. We are all involved in a passing evolutionary event that any law made by man will have little effect on. Personally I think the dumbest critter out there is man himself. Look at what we have done to this planet in the last 200 years. This change is accelerating on a logarythmic scale that has no constraints. That a few of us get our rocks off shooting a few prairie dogs will make no more impact on the population than the "BB In A Boxcar"! Now when you consider the oceans rising 25 feet or a polar icecap sliding down upon us, then we are looking at things that are occuring that will be a little more significant...
We might as well relax a little and enjoy today! The "Times are a changing". Humans are the ones that are destroying the balances.
