When I select a thread to read in Rural Living, the posts go so far to the right I have to use the scroll bars to read the post. With any other forum the entire post is on one screen.

Is there a different setting for Rural Living?

Yep, I've been gettin it, too, and quite some time ago, I seem to recall Muhammad explaining what caused that (but naturally with my memory - and knowledge of computers - I don't recall what the explanation was). However, when he's noticed that before, he's fixed it.

Probably everyone has, but I will have to agree with the original premise here.....Rural Living IS Different! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Does it look like this on ALL Rural Living pages?

I do know that if someone has posted a picture (within the message) and that picture is WIDE, the table that gets displayed -- for the whole page -- will be sized to the BIGGEST (widest) picture on that page.

I hope that makes some sense.

I guess, what I am saying is, when you see that happen again, scroll down the entire page looking for a picture that takes up that width. That will be the culprit for the formatting.

Spot on Gatorboy

I checked the posts and when I got to Storing Hay it was wide. Sure enough if you scroll down you will see a large picture.

Hi Neil

Yes, not many of us. In fact I have only come across one other - Richard Lee - who has been quiet for some time, probably getting some serious tractor time in. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I expect you will be getting stocked up on sun lotion ready for Christmas. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Nice to hear from you.

Andy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having the problem. I was going crazy trying to figure out what was causing it and how to correct it. I'm sure Muhammad will fix it now, or tell us how to!

Muhammad really can't fix the problem. This is the way that browsers handle tables. He has a limit on the width, but as soon as someone displays an image that exceeds that width, the whole table is set to that width.

What Muhammad can do though is request that users who display images in the message try and keep the photo size under certain limits (i.e. 640 pixels)

34 degrees seems a might cold to me... Oh thats right, you guys down under must use that Celsius thermometer/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I would hardly want to live somewhere where 34 degrees F would be indicative of summer. If I remember right to convert from C to F you multiply the temperature in C by 9/5 and then add thirty two. So 34 degrees C would correspond to about 93 degrees F, summer indeed.

Dunno about the conversions.
