Try filling the tank and see if it runs. Could be a bad pickup tube inside the tank

what about the carburator float? sounds like it could have a pin hole and it full of gas making it heavy and not let gas come

Not let gas come ??

If the float is sinking, then it won't "float" and shut off the gas, iirc.

I had a yamaha quad that had the same symptoms. Before the symptoms I had a leaking oem fuel line that I replaced with a non-oem straight fuel line, the oem was molded shape. The engine would start but after a few minutes it would either die or run like its running out of fuel. I purchased/installed the oem and it worked fine.
