$75 I couldn't believe it! lol. They were only 45 min from my house.

See? Sometimes it pays out to contact a few dealers first. The model may be discontinued but the parts are still out here.

Here is another one, now that we know the part number: HOSEA LOW PRESSURE (NTB4560000A3)

Crazy price for a regular hose but not for that, you did good

I found it at the dealership I bought the tractor at 20 years ago. In stock!
Wow a 20 year old NOS rubber hose? Is there a date of mfg on that package?
Did you get two? Freeze one for next time?

Yes, That's what I would've done! That hose is a wear part and will eventually break again; should've gotten a spare whilst one could! Else you're going to be doing what's already been mentioned - "fabricating" some type of replacement!

At $75 per replacement, fabricating an alternative NOW might be a reasonable approach. Esp if it gets More Scarce over time (likely, right?)

I wonder if a machinist/pipe fitter might be able to add a piece to a copper tube . . . Make a mode out of the old hose to use in forming (bending) a piece of sand filled? tube into a similar shape before brazing a nipple of the correct dimensions where in needs be.

Prohibitively expensive. Hmmm

There is a $35 and a $45 alternative for the hose. I wouldn't panic so fast yet. The same hose is used on other models still made today with the A1700 engine that uses two separate hydraulic pump instead of the tandem pump setup on the A2000 and A2300 engines.

You're probably right ptsg, but since we never know "when" these unusual fitment pieces are going to become unobtainable - I'd sure get a spare or 2 now! Just to be safe.

That's true indeed but I wouldn't bother too much being a rubber part stored for a long time. As long as it doesn't see direct sun light, it should still last a long time.

That being said, the one on my 7 year old tractor, showed signs of cracking, but mostly because I tweaked the hard line some time ago and it's been forcing the hose in a weird angle. If it wasn't for that, it should last a long time. For now, just wrapped some tape around that bad area.

I too, have thought about making like a manifold out of some stainless steel pipe and then just use two small straight sections of hose.
